Hannah, also another new participant, and youngest member of the group, did this nice little ink sketch of a horse and farm. Way to go Hannah!

Finally I was able to work up a series of gouache/watercolor sketches, ranging from the cold bitter chill of outside....to the warm indoor arena of the coffee shop.

That's some impressive stuff you made there! I love the chilly desaturated colors from the outdoor sketches.

Thanks Peter and Joris! We did get a little skiff of snow this morning, but it did melt away pretty quickly. Everybody started outside today, but people got too cold pretty quickly and we had to move indoors. For some reason it is always freezing when we do SketchCrawl......I guess we will take what we get.

Thanks Paint Monster! It is amazing how everyone can paint the same scene and come up with something completely different. I suppose that is one of the things that makes art so great........we get sort of a peak on how others perceive the world.

Annelito -- Yes you will definitely have to try gouache. It's a lot of fun, I think you would really like it.

Thanks Donnam -- It's so fun to see what everyone brings to the table, everyone brings something unique.

zupzup--
I would use gouache more often if I could remember how to spell it. You did a great job on those pieces!

Thank you soooo much Marcello, John and Christina!.....it was so inspiring and helpful to be able to feed off the energy of the rest of the group, and in turn hopefully inspire them as well.
