I have modified alanna's first post and added the poll questions donnam created (then deleted her post). Only the first topic creator can create a poll.

You guys have fun, and if you can please take a group picture of the participants on location.

I'll vote for downtown. I like the idea of fountains, people, buildings, public art, etc.

Hello Fellow Sketcher,
I voted for downtown also. And for those of you not familiar with Tucson the Tucson Museum of Art is located in downtown.

Drawing at the Art Museum

Post by helengaus »

Hello all,

My hesitation about drawing during the sale is the crowd and people all watching me sketch. I just don't like to draw with so many others around but I can find a quiet place by myself and still be part of the group, so if downtown is the choice, I'll be there. If it's windy, I will not. I have very bad allergies at this time of year and have been having a hard time breathing and seeing since Saturday. I sat out for 4 hours to watch the Yaqui Gloria at Barrio Libre on Saturday. That's what did it.

Let me know the decision.
Thanks,
Helen

It appears that the vote is overwhelmingly downtown. So, let's meet at Ike's Coffee Shop at 100 N. Stone Ave. (It is basically across the street from the main library).

Time: 9:30 AM

From there, we can disperse to various locations of your own choosing. Some might want to do the museum, some might want to wander the streets. As always, it is very loose with no restrictions except that you sketch.

I would appreciate an online "check-in" to let me know who we are expecting to show up. Wouldn't want to disperse before everyone knows the days' plan (ie lunch meetup etc).

Thanks and see everyone on Saturday morning.
