Berlin - Germany

Post by jaz999 »

I've looked at the weather and it doesn't look very good for sketching, but I'll try to make an effort. I'm looking forward to warmer climes!
Have fun everyone!
Jen.

Hi Jen(nnifer), looking forward to seeing some more sketches from Germany! First time someone from Berlin joins in!
Have a nice and dry day - it's still raining over here ... ;-)
Thorsten
btw: .. as you are doing comic workshops you certainly know Peter "Auge" Lorenz from "Renate" (Berlin)?

Hi Peter Pen (Thorsten),

I must apologise extensively for not replying, I did do some sketches on the day but was not very pleased with the results. The weather wasn't all that good and I didn't have very good materials with me. It all sounds very complainy, but the difference is notable, if one takes a look at my blog...
Anyhoo, here are my sketches, hopefully I'll do better for the next sketch crawl...

oh, almost forgot... I'm sorry to say, I hadn't heard of Herr Lorenz... I've only been here in Berlin for a couple of years. There are also SO many cartoonists to keep track of, it's hard to know them all... :}

See you soon,

Really? I saw Kölln and Hamburg in there, no Berlin though... perhaps I ought to put an entry in on DA... Or leave some posters at the UdK /art shops.
I really hope we get good weather this time. Autumn is lovely when the sun shines... even if it's cold.

I didn't want to directly load photos here, because some forums discourage that. Couldn't be stuffed reading through the AGBs though :}
Well, let's see what comes up over here. Have fun in Hamburg!

-- thanks for promoting SC in Berlin. You also might want to go to "Berliner Comicbibliothek Renate" ( http://www.renatecomics.de/ ) if you're around Tucholskystr. 32 ...

... and regarding the weather: Usually SC-Days are Sun-Days ;)
Here is one forecast via Kachelmann ... ;)
