Vacaville - CA - USA [RESULTS]

Well, I think this may be the first ever Sketchcrawl posting from Vacaville (where I live). I was going to go to San Francisco, but I had too much work to do. So then I was thinking I would set off some renders and join up with the folks in Davis (closer). I couldn't even manage that. So to avoid missing out altogether, I drove downtown and made some sketches as I sat in my car with a hot cup of coffee. That's why I'm calling this one a SketchSit, rather than a crawl. But here they are:
Just a few people walking around, and some kids on bikes.
This is the bridge over Ulatis Creek, with Andrews Park beyond. This is where they hold the Creekwalk concerts during the summer.
This is part of the historic downtown. The city was a Pony Express stop back in the 1800s, and some of the buildings date back to then.
Hopefully my work schedule will allow me to make it to SF next time. But at least I didn't get completely shut out!
