I had a solo sketchcrawl in my hometown, Florence, Oregon. it was a little chilly, so I started out by doing a watercolor of the Siuslaw River from my car.




There's not as much logging on the Oregon as there used to be, but you still pass a lot of these monsters on the highway:




The Florence Events Center is the cultural center of my hometown. Plays, concerts, conferences, etc.



I went to Starbucks to get some coffee. It's in our grocery store, and I can hang out there and sketch. This old gentleman was patiently waiting for someone to get his groceries for him:



I made a quick sketch of a man with Parkinson's disease as he struggled out the door:



It was a lot of fun sketching today. Love the sketches I'm seeing from other parts of the world. Thanks to everyone!

Nice watercolor style, nice way to show trees, I like the first one and the third one.

Bill - Great group of sketches. The logging truck is super, and I love the seated man. Did you add the color while you were out sketching or when you got home?
