I'll be there! And, it looks like we'll have sunny (if brisk) weather:

I happened to be in town and ran into Gerald at Macworld.. I am thrilled to join the SF group (on time) this year as i am staying in North Beach.
any art stores in chinatown near the meetup site? I came un-prepared for sketching, expecting to run into Pearl (a bit far this am)

a stationery store? moleskin sellers on the street?? :?

There's a Utrecht art on New Montgomery, which is south of the Montgomery Street BART station (it's on the next block past the big Academy of Art compound). I think it opens at 10 am.

I've got to go to the art store and find a watercolor brush - my cat hid mine.

Hehe, aw sneaky cats. I have 4 of those and they all act like angels. You know about this Utrecht store. I still think it sucks that they closed the Michaels store on Sutter a few months ago. So close to my school building on Powell... :(

Hey Y'all,

I had a great time at the crawl today, though a bit chilly and exhausted after driving straight up from L.A. early this morning (not Friday night after all).

I'm sorry I missed some of you guys amongst the crowd. Hope you had a good crawl and I look forward to seeing your sketches. I'll be posting mine in a few days or so.

Lee-Roy
