London - [Results]

Post by Tom D »

Sorry for the late posting. We met at the south side of Tower Bridge and wandered West, dinally ending up around the London Eye. Crowds were impossible there, so we walked over to Waterloo Station to end the day.

Here are my results:

nice stuff!
I did think of London while crawling in Ghent, and we even checked the rates for taking the boat from Ostend to England. But only cars were allowed on the boat...

Thanks! It looks like you had a bigger turn out than we did anyway.

There were just two of us, at least as far as I know. Any other Londoners who were sketching on that day are welcome to post.

Tom - Great bird characters, as well as people sketches. Looks like that lady missed the bus/train.

Pete, I don't know how you identified Hay's Galleria from a few marker blobs but yes, that's the place.

I'm trying to do more marker studies like this one. Based on your comments and Enrico's (thanks, Enrico!) I will continue in this direction.

More stuff from around London on my blog:

Really great character stuff and interiors, Tom. The one you refer to as some "marker blobs" is rather outstanding, in my opinion. Love the lighting. And it has just the necessary details to paint the scene and nothing more.
