What wonderful sketches! Thanks for posting them all. My favorites are the combo house and the road workers. Are they marker or watercolor washes?

BRANKOS BRIDGE

@Alisa
All markers (PANTONE® TRIA™ by LETRASET Warm Grays 3,5,9 and on some 7,11 with TRIA Illustrator Black)
easy to handle, quick to block and detail, no risk of spilling. Still, I envy those experts with watercolors... :?
@ambassador
thank you, but I think you're just way too kind - or am I seeing only my mistakes :cry: maybe?

LIBERATION SQUARE

The last and (the) least one

I tried to sketch this one a little bit different than others, but not very happy with final results. Too heavy :(
Wasn't even sure whether I should post it or not... :oops:

@4ojos
Maybe a little, but for instance, B&W photography will always remain some kind of "evergreen" feature...

(still) WAITING FOR DJORZGUL

Post by mr.sch »

one real size photo of all displayed drawings and tools that created them...

Image

@jasonf
If you allways uncap them before use, you just can't go wrong with any markers :wink:

@enrico
There are two historical Brankos that may have give their name to the bridge itself.

LATEST UPDATE ABOUT DJORZGUL:
The other half of Belgrade SC crew have had serious bad luck that involves:

- 1 horny tomcat (with a need 2 P) :oops:
- 1 laptop keybord wide open :shock:
- 2 fatal wet seconds :cry:

Of course, scanned work from SC was on HDD... I was promised that all work will be re-scanned and posted
on this and other blog/forum(s) soon. Let's hope he will catch up before next SC on Sunday, November 4th.

@Gerald, samacleod, Thorsten
thank you all, and Happy New Year. I'll try to vary my technique on each SC, best way to learn

Also, major update of BLOG is finished - there are 100 Posts (wait for all thumbnails to load)
in my first "blog-year", and 50 more works (in various formats with(out) borders) until 2008.

...two weeks countdown... SnowCrawl Nº17 :roll:
