Any NYC SketchCrawlers?
I'll be there for #14. Don't know if I'll be able to meet up with a group of SketchCrawlers, as I may have other things going on that day, but whatever I do, I will be sketching!
Anyone planning to sketchcrawl in New York City, May 19th, 2007, post to this thread to organize a group crawl!
I'm in New York City...

In the past, I've just drawn wherever I was at, but I would love to join a group if one materialized. Anyone up for it?

Still not sure if I'd be able to join a group crawl, but where do you think would be a good locale? Maybe in the Lower Eastside? Love those tenament buildings. Or maybe a park somewhere. Central Park? Prospect Park in Brooklyn? My knowledge of NY is limited.

I'm definitely participating. And I'd be willing to plan, just need to think about it a little bit.

Hi there!
There will be a group meeting at the Southstreet Seaport at 11:15 am on Saturday May 19th. There's a big sailing ship parked at Pier 17 that would make a good landmark to meet at.
You can take the 2 or 3 train to Fulton Street or the A or C train to Broadway-Nassau. Walk across Fulton Street until you reach South Street. Continue on till you reach the pier.

Hope to see you then!

I'll be there. How will I recognize you all? Sketchpads and art boxes? Fine then.

Sorry guys, looks like it's going to rain on Saturday.
Instead of waiting in the rain for everyone, I figured we should plan on meeting at the main lobby of the Metropolitan Museum of Art at 11:30 instead.
It's located at 1000 Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street
New York, New York 10028-0198
General Information: 212-535-7710

I'll be wearing a maroon "sketchcrawl" t-shirt and have my sketchbook at the ready... We'll wait for a bit in the lobby and get tickets.
