Wow, so many people for your sketchcrawl! We, in Sydney, started off with 5, then split up, then there was only 3 of us. I hope one day we'll get more than 10.

Great sketches. It's exciting to see what people in different parts of the world have done.

Cheers
Janine

.. that's bunch of nice sketchers you're walking around with, Karen ;-)

.. wonderfully set on the paper and heavenly coloured, Martha. Going along with your special handwriting ...

... yes, Chris, like 'em - esp. the second one

Man, really impressive everyone, and I'm glad someone drew the Brazil Cafe, what a landmark! I remember parking across the street from that little kiosk.

Wow, some great sketches from everyone. I unfortunately could only make it for the front half of the day this time. I managed to get a few drawings.

Instead of sketching the t-rex, I opted to go upstairs and draw things in jars.

Then some outside stuff...

I started out at the life sciences building. Here is the t. rex as seen from the balcony.

This little guy was suspended overhead. I drew him twice.

This bust is on the south side of the campanile where we met up at 2:00. It's sculpted by Gutson Borglum, the same man who carved Mt. Rushmore. Also, here are the photographers taking the group photos, a shoe from the museun of anthropology, and notes from Cafe Strada.

This urn is part of the Hearst Women's Gymnasium, a Bernard Maybeck/Julia Morgan design. And last, here are more sights from the anthropology museum.

Enjoy!

These look great, everyone. I like all the pterodactyls... and the amphibians in jars. A lot more color than the last crawl? Maybe because it's finally looking like spring.

Urgh. I'm bummed that I missed it. Next one, for sure!
