Hi everyone, even though the March crawl is a couple of months away, we might as well begin discussion as to where.

Please begin posting your suggestions. Thanks.

Hi Donna,

I'll be participating in the "12 1/2 In Your Home" crawl but won't be in town for the 13th crawl. Looking forward to viewing the in-home sketches. Any idea at this early date when the 14th crawl will be held?

Hi Helen, I will be participating this weekend too. I don't have a clue about the location for the next crawl as so far no one has posted any ideas.

Didn't do 12.5 crawl...

Hi Donna, Relatives came to town for our cousin's wedding that weekend and stayed longer than expected. Didn't have time to draw but really enjoyed their visit. I'll be in Mata Ortiz for the 14th but I just might bring my sketchbook along. Any news on whether or not Paul will have folks from The Drawing Studio participate? That would be great. Helen

As you can see, there seems to be no chatter on this message. I have no idea who is listening in.

I will be out of town from early March until the Friday before the crawl, so someone needs to step up here and take control of the March crawl as to time and location. Paul?

I plan on crawling on this one, but I will not be posting beforehand due to my absence, but I hope to learn the location and time when I get home.

Hi All,
I've got a portrait class scheduled on March 17th, from 1 to 4 PM, at The Drawing Studio on 4th Ave.

I might be able to participate before the class if the location is close to downtown.

I will mention the event in my classes starting next week, so a quick decision as to location would be helpful.

Hi Paul, can you make the decision and choose. I don't even know if anyone is participating. Helen and I will both be out of town, but I will be back on the 15th so I will participate if there is one in Tucson. Thanks.

I just checked in. I would love to participate, though not 100% I can. I may have to work in the morning...
I would suggest downtown, though. I have been itching to sketch the St. Augustine cathedral and other cool locations downtown...

i will be sketchcrawlin!

Let's pick a time and place. My suggestion is downtown...we could hit armory park, st. augustine cathedral, old town artisan, presidio park, the downtown library...etc

Would anyone come to Shot in the Dark CAfe on broadway across from Access Tucson at 10 am? The st. pat's day parade starts at 11, that might be some good sketching material???

No can do!

I'd love to join you all for the crawl but I will be out of town and I haven't been drawing too much lately.

My new camera is just too much fun! Maybe next time. Have fun! CM

I guess I'll just take the initiative and say:

TUCSON SKETCHCRAWL
MARCH 17, 2007
10AM-(LUNCH? OR LONGER?)
MEET AT: SHOT IN THE DARK CAFE
(downtown on Broadway between 5th and 6th avenues, across from Access Tucson)
NEXT STOP: ARMORY PARK AND ST. PAT'S DAY PARADE
WANDER FROM THERE!

SEE YA THERE!
