Enrico--fab perspective on the kitchen--assume you were sitting on the floor?

This has been great seeing all of the sketches on one post. It intensifies the Wow factor! Great concept and I love this group--so much talent in one forum!

Sheesh! Amazing pieces! Really humbling!

My wife and I had a baby a week ago, and have been very short on sleep. To helps us out a little we decided to stay the night over at her parents house. So these are from STEVENSON RANCH, CALIFORNIA (Santa Clarita Valley, a couple exits from Magic Mountain).

Great idea for sketchcrawl, especially in the winter! Everyone's sketches are wonderful!

I started sketching rather late in the day and only got a few done. I painted the second one in photoshop.

This was drawn while sitting in the black chair in the second sketch.

Last of the Thompson Falls, Montana results.

Wade dropped off the last sketches from the Montana crew. All I can say is that I want to eat dinner at his house....chicken pot pie has never looked so good, and so fun!

It might be good that width almost makes 600 pixels a standard.

Alisa: great photoshop sketch. I am just starting to render in photoshop, usually use Illustrator and do love Corel Painter. Tell me do you sketch directly on the computer?

It's not one of my talents to do some rough and fast sketches from real life, but for this sketchcrawl the theme was drawing at home, so I made one drawing from my kitchen. This kitchen is living with me in Kiel, Germany. ;-)

Wow, everyone did GREAT home sketches. I'm trapped in one of those ruts right now where I HATE the way I draw so, I think everything I do is garbage. Usually means I'm about to have some sort of drawing "breakthrough" which is good, but until that happens, it's no fun. Here are a couple of drawings that I don't totally despise.

This is our dog Mongoose. The rest of our apartment isn't fun to draw... or at least I wasn't looking hard enough, but this guy is pretty fun. Too bad I was unable to capture how cute he is.

He likes to lie in humourous positions. Oh yeah, I'm in San Rafael, CA.

Oh by the way, Enrico... That's quite the thick Corto Maltese volume you drew there. I picked up this amazing book of a bunch of Pratt's sketches and watercolours, but I'm looking for a good colection of Corto Maltese. If you don't mind, where did you get that one? Please don't tell me you picked it up in Italy. Know where I can find one? Thanks.
