Finally scanned my watercolors ...
My plan of drawing all of you SF crawlers sure didn't work ....
I ended up with only 12 of you ... my energy was too low ...
but I will try again one day!

Great sketches splinesmith, you captured the animals really nicely, the lions must have been incredible to see, thanks for sharing!
Awesome watercolours Enrico! I'd say you did a pretty darn good job of sketching your fellow crawlers under the circumstances, what a great bunch of characters, done with your usual directness and appeal! Those bears are just great too :)

I had fun.
Everything was pleasant. People, animals, and the weather (sort of, until just before the very end)
Biscuit Maker
I love your watercolors! and animals. You keep everything so clean, yet still spontaneous.
Erik76
Great expressions, and lots of them at that.
Kazz
You're well suited to both analog and digital!
Splinesmith
You did almost a complete survey of the zoo. Poor zookeeper...the penguins are going to eat him alive.
Enrico
I hope you got better soon after.
Amelia
I really like your second cat. He seems quite content.

Looks like the holiday madness has caught up with everyone else as well. I just finally got these scanned last night. I think my personal fave from the set is the closeup on the flamingo. And next time I grab a sketchbook, I think I'll stick with something less colorful - green flamingoes are just plain wrong...
I realy enjoyed seeing everyone though - I almost wish these happened more often, but then I know I'd never make it out.
biscuit maker Lovely watercolors! I am rather fond of the way you captured the albino quail. I'd never seen one before. Also - nice photos! I wish I had been able to stick around to the end, the big book swap is my favourite part of these things.
erik76 nice personalities!
kazz grumpy bird rules
splinesmith great studies - there's a real story in every image.
enrico I love your style! You nailed Ryan
Here's hoping you feel better before the holidays.
amelia I'm glad I wasn't the only one fascinated by the flamingoes. The following weekend a friend introduced me to a drink by the same name. It is also pink with a stern countenance.
oliver those peacocks are awesome! you really nailed their plumage.

Biscuit Maker, I like that hungry lion, I suppose the other animals was not in the same cage eheh
erik76, how many faces and characters !
Kazz, I hope, a day, to sketch a grumpy bird like that !
splinesmith, ahah the first monkey is really funny
Great the lion when performs the attack !
Enrico, some of your SF crawlers are sketched in a "manga style" , very funny ! The lions are regal !
amelia, I am curious to know what goes through the lioness's eyes...
Oliver, all those animals evoke the sound of the habitat.
frosti, flamingoes are fascinating birds, your close up is great!
Karen, I like the rhino and the hippo too.
