Thompson Falls, Montana *RESULTS*

Post by ZUPZUP »

Here are my two contributions from the Big Sky state, and both of them are gouache on paper. The temperature clocked in at a pleasant 31 degrees, so needless to say I wasn't able to get anyone else to partake in the festivities....bummer. I finally had to call it quits after I could no longer hold my brush. At that point I decided to quit CRAWLING and RUN to the warmest place I could find....haha

They're really beautiful! They feel very cold. I'm also impressed by your fortitude.
Stay warm!

Did you say pleasant 31 degrees. I live in Tucson and there is nothing pleasant about 31 degrees :D

Anyway, I do love your sketches and am most impressed that you could even think about sketching in 31 degrees.

Absolutely beautiful...I love your style. There is so much depth to the linework and color, which adds a nice richness.

And I thought I was cold in San Francisco--but it was nowhere near 31 degrees. (Did the gouache get slushy?) We Californians are such wimps!

Absolutely beautiful! Even though I am over here in Hong Kong at 65 degrees F, I certainly can feel the coldness and the peacefulnes of winter from the drawings. Great job!
