So, let's see ... we should open the discussion to find a good itinerary for SketchCrawl 12 here in SF ...
we obviously now have to take in consideration we have a large group of people sketching ...
For example my idea of riding the MUNI all day, might be a little hard to do, unless we split up on different lines ... or we plan carefully ...

Anyway, here's the place to brainstorm ideas for itineraries !
Let's have it !

It seems, oddly, that we pull together a large group whenever we take the ferry...but land is good too. I had the horrible fear last SketchCrawl that my sketchbook would be blown overboard and scattered across San Francisco Bay. :x

I've seen some nice photos of Upper Fort Mason, but not sure if we should stay away from parks if the rain continues (muddy puddles) ?

Maybe stick to the city streets?

Hey homies,

Maybe someplace with a lot of space like a park or reserve?

How about an exploratory crawl through Golden Gate Park or maybe a beach or maybe in Marin?

Its somewhat problematic to meet at places such as a coffee shop because of the overflow of crawlers trying to get in. I like that we met at a park during the last crawl, it was easy for everyone to get together in an open area.

I've invited my classmates at AnimationMentor.com to visit their nearest SketchCrawl so hopefully we'll have a big international turn out. I'm hoping some of them in CA will come out to the S.F. gathering aswell.

I've had to miss the last few crawls so I can't wait for the 9th! See you all there!

Sounds like a blast!

I'd like to do Tilden Park sometime, but that would be a Berkeley group and not SF.

As for where to go in December, maybe we could plan on going up to fort mason, but meet somewhere in the city first. That way if the weather turns out to be bad, we could go coffee-shop hopping or something instead...?

I got an idea... Me and Amelia went to go draw at the San Francisco Zoo this last weekend. I thought it was a great place to draw with lots of people and animals. Also there's lots of space so all the sketchcrawlers could fit in there.

hmmmm I like both the zoo idea and the coffee shop hop idea. I can't decide.

Hi.
I just found out about this a few minutes ago and would love to participate. Perhaps the group could jump from one cafe to the other until they reach the zoo!

Actually we got transportation from our parents.
I think there's a bus stop outside the zoo though.

*edit
I just checked the MUNI site. "Zoo" is a stop on the list.
Check it out here.

I like the zoo idea too. I've always wanted to sketch out there.
Good suggestion :D

Yeah, my official vote is for the zoo. I think the animals will be a nice change up to our usuall surroundings.

Side note: Antonatron, what's your name on AM?
