Anyone in Portland up for it? I'm game for as many hours as my 4-year-old will allow, but she likes to draw, too, so who knows?

Cool! I'm glad to see there's a few people interested! Looks like we might be able to pull some people from the Art Institute in as well - I'm rallying people at another forum as well (http://www.gotoandplay.net/forum/, in the Goto+DRAW forum), we might actually have a pretty big crowd.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to start? I was thinking the park blocks, cause there's quite a bit going on there during the weekends.

My plan is to start at the corner of SW Harrison & Broadway, at PSU campus, at 10:30 saturday morning, then sketch my way through the Farmer's Market, and have lunch at the Market St. Pub. I hope to go a few more hours after that, but we'll have to see what's up at that point.

Hey, enrico:

We had a pretty small turnout in the end. My daughter and I were joined briefly by another Sketcher at the meeting spot. After we stopped for lunch the two of us decided to try again another time. I'll try to remember to post the few sketches I managed (and hers as well).

I may be in Portland for the 12-1/2 crawl. And wonder if anyone is planning anything.

Zoe, how about putting this idea into the new thread? Maybe it would be easier to find some company there, too?
