Hi MJ, welcome aboard. Proud doodler here too mate!

Unless someone pops up and suggests a pub by the time I leave tomorrow, I'll be in the Science Museum in Sth Kensington, hanging around the moon landing at 1pm, nerding it up.

So many rockets, so little time... nothing Freudian there.

Barto.

PS Sketching 'ain't rocket science is it?

I'm not sure there are too many non swanky pubs around speakers corner, to be honest. so maybe meeting at the rocket bit in the science museam is a good alternative? Then when we are all in one place we can work out where to go?

Well, what'd ya know... the lunar exhibit was closed.

Anyway, I hung around until 2pm then took the crawl out into Sth Kensington! Lovely day for it.

Next time maybe?

Barto.

drat, I got there about 2:15, must missed you walking through the tunnel.

Bit of a bummer about the space exhibit... of course if we had thought to get an idea of what we looked like, that might have helped, lol.

In Bristol. I cycled out to the Avon gorge then found that i'd forgotten my sketchbook.
So had to use a scrappy bit of damp paper with a sun cream bottle as a work surface.

Ah MJ, yes a description would've helped! You weren't a guy wearing a blue and white shirt were you? I saw someone matching that description with paper and pen several blocks away. I also passed a pregnant lady leaving the building, that wasn't you with your kit up your shirt?

Anyway, there'll be a 12th crawl I'm sure.

Doctorwhom, love the tone on the right hand bridge tower! And a Kiwi too, good for you... and no, i don't want to talk about rugby.

Oh, hi Mithi.

wonderful temperature in your colours, doctorwhom - I hope the weather wasn't too bad and doomy compared to the setting in your powerful sketch!

Cheers Barto. Contrary to the established stereotype I don't think I've spent more than a few minutes of my entire life engaged in conversation about rugby. Peter Pan, thanks heaps, but to be honest the posted pic is a monotone version of the original. I only had bright green ink and brown and yellow gouache on me so the original is a bit more garish (and not so gloomy). Perhaps I should post it.

Thanks Enrico. I'm flattered.

I'm enjoying your Venice comic. I too returned from Venice a few weeks ago. I hardly drew a thing for six weeks in europe. Though I hauled a crapload of stationary everywhere I went.

Blast! Got to London so late in the afternoon that I just went for a solo sketch route to St Pauls and Tate Modern. Despite the SC 'rules' I'm walking through London and sketching still since it's Sunday and most things are closed. It's too lovely a day not to make use of!
