London SketchCrawl

Post by Katherine T »

Hi ChiChi - I know the area well and I'm going to try to be there. I'm also giving the sketchcrawl some publicity on my blog http://makingamark.blogspot.com/ and on Wet Canvas where I've just taught a sketching class - see http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=350853

[Later] This is the link to the post about the 10th International Sketchcrawl on my blog

Hi - I guess I'm the first to post sketches. There were five women on the London sketchcrawl (I wonder why that was? Maybe something to do with the football!)

Anyway here's the link to my images on my blog http://makingamark.blogspot.com/2006/07 ... sults.html

They're of:
  • a stall in Borough market
  • the view from London Bridge - looking east
  • outside Southwark Cathedral
  • an Oyster and Porter House
  • Southwarl bridge and St Paul's cathedral

Wonderful sketch, I wish I had the nerve to stay in one place long enough to get that much detail in a sketch. And those cheese wheels are making my mouth water.
