Sketchcrawl Amsterdam - Results

Post by docman2000 »

Hello there. I'm a British guy living in the Netherlands and wondered if there is anybody interested in a Sketchcrawl around Amsterdam?
Or if anybody has ideas for places around the city that would be good venues. I'm happy to organise anything.

Hello there - this is your Amsterdam correspondant reporting in. I was on my own but I had a great day. See below for the results. I was a bit disappointed by the way my scanner reproduced my sketchbook - with the brown pencil and the creamy paper it has a nice sepia look to it, but it looks a bit washed out here. Anyway, enough excuses....

I really love the last pic of the train and buildings, as well as the park square pic... I guess I like seeing the whole location. I have a really hard time drawing people in locations...I'm horrible with scale.
I like the drawing of the serious little soccer player.

Hi, they're lovely drawings, especially like the last one with the buildings and tram. I have visited amsterdam and think it's a beautiful city. Your drawings are inspiring. Thanks Janine
