Why don't we meet at APE, check out what's there for an hour or two, then go on a sketchcrawl ?

I know APE was pretty small last year and we saw everything in about an hour. basically, APE is not an all day event.

Yeah, we haven't done Japantown yet (have we?)... there's this tree down there with a big scar on it where some lady crashed into it while I was walking down the sidewalk. I always stop and say hi to the tree that saved my life when I'm in Japantown :)

So Easter Sunday is the 16th - do we want to try and go for Saturday the 15th, or the weekend after (the 22)?

I'd vote for the 15th or the 22nd...Japantown and/or the cherryblossom festival sound really cool to me. No matter what, the more time we can spend sketching during the day, the better! :)

Both the 15th and the 22nd are fine with me. Is the Cherry Blossom Fest on one of those dates? I'd really like to go to that.

thanks for all the suggestions .... been a little too swamped to chime in ... uhm, sounds very interesting ... I guess the weekend of the 15th is easter, I wonder if there are a lot of people that would miss if because of that ... Maybe the 22nd might better ?

A voice from the wilderness votes for the 22nd or 23rd. But we'll probably get a group together here in Oregon, whenever. It's a terrific feeling to know there are people all over the world with sketchbooks and pencils in hand on the same day.

Hello, I'm new here :) Although I'm from the UK I'm going to be in Honeymoon in San Francisco on the 15th, and we'll be stopping by at the cherry blossom festival. Although it doesn't look like that's going to be a good weekend for your sketchcrawl, if you're there and you see an English lass drawing, please stop by and say hello :)
