Hello group!
This is my first posting to this group, and on any forum ever.
I Stumbled upon this website a couple weeks ago and fell in love with the concept - Draw til you drop!
I've been wanting to draw more so this was a great opportunity.
Well, Some decent and some ok drawings, but really happy with the experience I gained from forcing myself to draw.
-------------------------
The day was snowing, and really cold. But forced myself to get out of the house to draw - mostly because I also had nothing to eat in the house. This was a snap shot of my neighborhood before making it to the coffee shop:
Drew while waiting on line in the coffee shop. Figure doll bobber they sold in the store:
Breakfast Coffee and Toasted bagel w/ Cream Cheese:
Spread the cream cheese:
Almost finished eating:
Store starting to get a little crowded:
There's a garage door attached to the outside. On a warm day the door is fully opened and is very nice:
Walked a few block to draw some neighboring building... Fingers were ultra cold:
Walked back to the shopping district to a bookstore to warm up the fingers a bit:
ÂÂ
A woman came and sat on the chair I was drawing; so I just drew her:
UglyDolls (this is the name of these dolls) on the outside display. It's starting to snow hard and the ink is starting to bleed.
Jumped into a neighboring 'Urban Outfitter' and purchased gloves!
A little large on me but very warm!
Continue on with the drawing. A few blocks down the street is this great blue clock building.
Colorful building. Used pencil here at first but I think I prefer Inking Directly for its speed:
ÂÂ
Some Structure on the street. Displayed a Christmas stocking:
Finally lunch! One of my favorite Pizza places in town - great NY style pizza:
A tatoo parlor seen from outside the pizza place:
ÂÂ
Next door coffee place. A tad Smoky:
Coffee shop logo:
Had some more energy to draw but it started snowing very very hard. Decided to head back on home. So at the end of the day:
6 Hours of drawing.
22 Drawings done.
1 glove purchased
2 cups of coffee
1 bagel with cream cheese
1 pizza and an orange soda.
The materials used were as shown below:
what a great fulfilling day. I can't wait til the next SketchCrawl session!

Nice drawings! I feel like I was with you. My fingers are getting cold.

I sometimes think there is nothing so delightful as drawing.

Thanks!
Is it snowing in Sapporo too? I was there about 15 years ago and just thought it was very beautiful - Food was great too.

Thank you too.
Yes, Cold fingers were a problem. and it also didn't help with the flow of ink.
Peter Pan
Thank you three )
I thought the same about the bagel - although Rachel's bagel looked more delicious than mine especially with lettuce and tomato's.
Thanks!
