Lookin good Andy. I like the gestures and lines in the second and third ones. They look like they are really moving around. From your sketches I wish I could've been in Brisbane with you!

Thanks for the comments!
James: Yeah it was great trying to draw the kids at the beach as they messed around in the sand - they don't hold still for long
FAB: It was really a great day to sketch beach-goers. Kodak beach is actually a man-made one in a big recreational area called Southbank in the city - there's always plenty of interesting things going on there.
Paintmonster: Thanks Marty! There were a LOT of poses like that from where I was sitting - lots of people's backs!
Alisa: Thanks! It sure was an awesome place to do some figure sketching.
Amelia: I was definitely trying to get the action of the (sometimes very brief) poses, glad you liked them

Andy - nice gestures, and your location...the beach! sounds wonderful. I remember sketching in that same type of heat/humidity while camping...my friends thought I was crazy

andy .. how could it come, that I only watched you drawings and didn't comment. It's been a while since I spent some time in one of the most undervalued Australian cities ... but, I really "re-felt" the peculiar atmosphere of artsitic and natural things built up on Southbanks. You really got a good cross section of many people going there for different reasons.
I really like the last picture with your sport-motion studies!!
