Sweet damn, that's some nice watercoloring there. DEFINITELY improved since you first started posting them. Did you do the paints on the spot, too, or wait until after the crawl was over?

How do you guys do soooo well at capturing a person, especially a likeness. Just trying to draw someone in a robe standing around was tough enough because she kept moving.

Do you just take a mental picture and draw from memory, or constantly look at your subject?

Kickass sketches, BTW.

Florida Results.

Since I worked overnight, I didn't get a whole lot of time. Only got to spend 3 and a half hours at Fort De Soto. Near the end, I cam across some COSplayers taking pictures of themselves in costume. Unfortunately as I showed up and started drawing a few of them, they started leaving. This is my firs...

Wow! That's a great sketch and great watercolors, too. I can feel the metal of the chainlink fence posts. I wish I could do watercolors that well. Maybe with time. Love this sketch--we picked up one new girl from the flyer I left at one of the art supply stores--so you might try that. Anyway nice wo...

St. Pete, Fla.

I started my day at about 2pm, and pretty much ended it at 830pm after having lunch with the wife at her work. I tried to keep from spending TOO much time on each sketch so I could do a lot ... didn't happen that way. First in pencil, then went over it in pen quickly. After I got home I added some g...
