Re: London, UK [RESULTS]
@66ahri - no, I do like Colors on the DS a lot (especially the pressure sensitivity!), but on the iPhone, Brushes seems a little slicker and more responsive. Today a new application was released called 'Layers' which lets you have up to 5 layers like in Photoshop, but I think for quick drawing, Brus...

Re: London, UK [RESULTS]
Lovely as always Tom, the first one especially with the man drawing(?) and the little touch of the bird too! I can fully sympathise with that having been a victim at the sketchcrawl back in October! Also love how you switch to the more realistic style for the statues, but retain excellent gesture. I...

Your lines make me weep Liz (in a good way!). Lovely as always, beautifully drawn and coloured just enough to really make everything pop out! My favourite is the Yuri's Sustainable Produce - love the effect having the foreground in colour gives.

Fantastic sense of scale in these sketches! Lovely relaxing colours too, and when I look at the photos I see that the whole atmosphere is very relaxed, it all looks so peaceful. You must have had a great day out!

Again, I love the presentation on these, you really make sure the viewer gets a feel for the day! My favourites are the two stalls sketches and the spectacular close - what a great pic to finish on, lovely composition and the way you annotate makes it look like the last page of children's story, the...

Was planning to be there but I've got too much on today. Hope it goes well, looking forward to seeing all the sketches. The circle line plan sounds fun.

Looks like you lot had a really fun day out! Great photos but absolutely fantastic sketches - seems there was a really talented bunch in KL this sketchcrawl! All these drawings have such wonderful gestures and such beautifully defined forms, I'm in awe. If you guys have got sites I'd love to see mor...

I like all of these! Really love the first two though, the first one for it's great sense of place, and the second for the sense of character. Lovely use of lines in the foliage in the first one too!

I don't know what you just said, but that picture defies more than a mere thousand words, it's gorgeous. If I saw it in a gallery I'd (try and) buy it (but probably wouldn't be able to afford it).

Great use of light and shade in these, it lends these images a certain sense of romance, especially the last two with those beautiful long shadows! The last two especially look like they could come out of an old children's storybook. I'm especially fond of the last one with the 2 kids.

Fantastic sketches Tom & Anna, wish I could have been there, you've both captured a fascinating array of characters in interesting poses - great gestures. And Tom, as always it's a pleasure looking at those little colour studies that you do.

Pica! I trust the squirrel found it's way out?
Great sketches, the colours really make these! Amazing sense of scale in the first one too, but they all convey that same great relaxed atmosphere. Excellent linework on the hair on the buddha stature too!

Alisa, great use of the brushpen! The pictures just pop out of the strokes, love it! My favourites are the Tamarins and the penguins. JChandra, your compositions are INSANELY good and drawn so well. Wonderful gestures in the animals too. I'm really in awe of your sketches, especially since I also us...

Thanks for the nice comments all! This is Eunice's sketch, I think she did really well with the colours and feel of the piece. This was done outside starbucks, facing the green waters of the lake. It's also only her second drawing in the past 20 years (apparently). http://www.thebornimage.com/miscfi...
