Re: LONDON - RESULTS

It's great to see these again Marina, especially the one of the market and that really long queue at the Tate - I didn't realise at the time just how many people you'd managed to capture in the sketch (to the extent you even got fellow sketchcrawlers right at the end!). All your figures look so indi...

Re: LONDON - RESULTS

Cheers Tom, I haven't washed that jacket yet - and now that you've said that I may store it away for the next sketch crawl. The pigeon droppings seem to have done their trick for you too although I do have a sneaking suspicion you fell into a cauldron of the stuff when you were a kid and they had a ...

Re: Toronto Canada SketchCrawl (Metro Toronto Zoo) [RESULTS]

Beautiful sketches Kei, as always, the first one really captures the moment so well, and the others have got so much character. Even the normally intimidating Mandrills actually look cute! Good to see that the wind and rain can't stop you from producing beautiful art! And what a turnout - that is a ...

Re: Brisbane, Australia [RESULTS]

These are fantastic! I've always loved the documentary style of sketching - lots of little sketches of a variety of subjects smartly annotated - and you've used both to really capture the day! And by the sounds of it t'was quite a memorable one! The colours are extraordinary - they really bring it a...

Love the detail and all the lines in these - it makes all of them seem really solid and real.

Re: Sapporo / Japan [RESULTS]

Great sketches one and all! That's what I love about going through sketchcrawl result pages - absorbing the atmosphere of a place you've never been through the eyes of talented artists. Seeing the different styles is very inspiring.

Re: LONDON - RESULTS

Great sketches Paper Sails (I nearly called you Paper Sails yesterday!). Your sketches have great enconomy of line and character in the people you drew, and I recognise a whole load of those people and all the places you sketched them! I know what you mean about capturing more of the environment - I...

Re: Sketch in London!!

I'll be trying for 10am - I'll watch out for your yellow striped scarf Paper Sails, and send you a text if I can't find you. Looking forward to sketching with you all! edit: Forgot to mention, I'll probably be wearing a beige jacket with a blue and white stripe across the middle, a black woolly hat ...

Re: Sketch in London!!

RoughQuinn, I think Borough is the first point on the map!

Great job on the route PaperSails, I haven't been to any of those places so it'll definitely be a new and interesting experience for me.

Let's hope today's downpour means that we'll be all rained out by Friday leaving Saturday clear!

Re: Sketch in London!!

I'm in South London on the Northern line so this is right up my street in more ways than one. I always feel nervous drawing in public so this would be great - I can actually get some practice! I won't be able to stay for the whole day though, but if this goes well I'd love for it to turn into someth...
