Re: FRANCE, Lyon [Results]

Wonderful drawings. I like that you encouraged everybody to try different approaches. You captured Lyon so well that the photos aren't even necessary!

Re: New York, NY, USA

My usual sketch buddies are out of town this weekend too. I think I'll fly solo for this SketchCrawl...

I'd probably be up for meeting in the late afternoon for a beverage and some sketchbook sharing if anyone else is out drawing this weekend. Happy drawing!

New York, NY, USA

I'll be around for the SketchCrawl!

Any suggestions on where to go? Maybe a nice, air-conditioned museum? :?:

Re: New York City, NY, USA [RESULTS]

Great stuff, everybody! I wish I could have joined you. I was traveling from RDU to JFK, so I drew whenever I had a few minutes. It was a fun challenge, since I never knew how long I'd have to capture a particular subject before one of us had to move on. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_JDiBUsn5ar4/S_BTZPTDYII...

Re: New York City, NY

I made some last minute travel plans, so I'll be SketchCrawling from airports this Saturday. Have fun in Central Park!

I think I'll be sketching on May 23 in the park. Here's the info in case others are interested:

Sounds good to me. It's been too long since I've drawn in Central Park.

Miscellaneous NYC drawings

I've been busy with my sketchbooks the past week. I thought I'd share a few of the favorites (there's more on the blog). Re: Boise, Idaho [Results]

I love the diverse views of America we get from the crawl. Maybe I'll be back home in Kentucky for a SketchCrawl one day.

The details and perspective in the second image are great! I really like how you handled the colors. Did you only use watercolors, or is there something else mixed in?
