Lovley - you all look so cold ! But it was worth it to share your day with everyone around the world. It looks a very nice place to draw and it is great to see all the different interpretations of the wonderful architecture. Great brickwork !!!

Tetsu - you have given so much colour, architecture and information in your sketches. (lunch is good too)
Yoshitaka Enomoto - Beautiful ! the girl is amazing. and the shrine dragons are so simple - but very complex too. I like the addition of colour.

Re: New Plymouth New Zealand [RESULTS] under the mountain

Great sketches New Zealand !! It is always exciting to see different drawings of the same views/building by different sketchers. I like the red - I always think I am brave using Blue Grey !!!! One day I will get adventurous. You have captured a slice of life and shown it around the world. We have fi...

Re: SYDNEY, Australia

There has been a little bit of offline discussion about where to meet and Kaz's suggestions appears to be popular ! (and there have been no other discussions here) So 10 am outside the War Memorial Hyde Park, stay there for a while and then walk down to the Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park North. Tha...

Re: SYDNEY, Australia

I have had a suggestion from Kaz. Lisa and Meegan that we go to Hyde Park to sketch - meet at the fountain and then perhaps walk up to the War Memorial. Perhaps BYO picnic lunch or pop into the city to buy lunch and all meet back somewhere on the park.

Sounds good to me !

Re: Sydney [Results]

Great drawings from the day. David, you were lucky with the fantastic weather. I like your images of the day as they encapsulate each place. One of my favourite sculpture installations is the "architectural graveyard" at the Gardens. I look forward to seeing more Sydney sketches as I could...

Sydney, Australia - RESULTS

A group of about 20 sketchers met on a cold damp day in Sydney, inside the warm, dry Powerhouse Museum. It is a museum for design and culture. We met at 10 am and then sketched til lunch , when we re-grouped at the Cafe and compared our mornings adventures. Some sketchers then continued on in the af...

Re: Sydney, NSW, Australia

It is in Ultimo, near Darling Harbour/ Convention Centre, so has lots of transport access (see in the link below) A few of us checked it out on Saturday and it had so many objects (bi...
