I like these, especially the couple eating ice cream -- they look incredulous that it's warm enough to be outside eating ice cream...

Sacramento, California: Results

Numenius and I sketched our way from the State Capitol to the Library then to Art Ellis on J Street and ended up at the Crocker to see the Buddhas show... This was my first time with a purple micron. http://www.magpienest.org/images/965.jpg http://www.magpienest.org/images/966.jpg http://www.magpien...

Re: Sacramento, CA - USA

I'd like to add a vote for the Capitol, and suggest a meeting time of 10:30 am on the steps. Two of us at least will be coming from Davis for this.

Re: Sacramento, CA Results

Thanks, Granny. It seems to be called "Pen and Ink Sketch" and is made by the same company that does a Moleskine ripoff, which I actually prefer (the paper's heavier). The Ink bottle has a vermilion label.

Sacramento, CA Results

Sorry Henry, I got very delayed helping my friends move. But I did end up doing a bit of sketching, albeit back in Davis! Henry: we have to help someone move on Saturday -- from near McKinley park to Natomas.

What's your plan, I'll see if we can join you briefly??

June 7 is World Drawing Day

Folks, I don't know how to start a new topic outside of the Sketchcrawl Forum, so moderators, if you'd like to move this, please do -- Sketchcrawlers may be interested in World Drawing Day, http://www.drawingday.org/ which is on Saturday, June 7. I'll be working at a booth about oiled wildlife on Al...
