Re: Moscow, ID [result]

The sleeping dog is perfectly captured (charcoal is a fascinating media). Great work with light and shadow in the food store.

mrccrl:
Very exact architecture, the second one (with the columns) reminds me of a classical stage design.

cancelliere:
I like the impressive riverbank and the cat is perfectly wonderful.
Your pencil seems to be afraid of hard work, doesn't he?

Beautiful lucent colors, the scene in the hamburger shop is my favorite (perspective, colors, composition).
Thanks for the additional information on the market and the dumpling tree.

Wonderful individual faces, a bookstore seems to be a perfect place for sketching people.
Have you used red chalk or sepia in your sketches?

Vienna, Austria [RESULTS]

Around 9:45 we met at a shopping mall near Staatsoper and had some hot chocolate in a coffee shop first. There we spent more time on talking than sketching till 11:30. Three of our small group had to do some shopping or preparations for skiing holidays and I decided to do some more sketches on my wa...

Re: Vienna, Austria

We are a small group of four people and we agreed to meet between 9:30 and 10:00 on saturday morning at Ringstrassen-Galerien (Entrance in Mahlerstrasse 4, close to Kärntner Straße). From there we have chances to move somewhere else in the city like Burggarten, Museumsquartier or Spittelberg, all lo...

Vienna, Austria

I'm looking forward to the 21st WWSC (the 2nd one in Vienna)!
Feel free to suggest a meeting point and locations where to draw. I will try to find some suitable indoor locations in case weather prevents us from sketching outdoors.

bye

Great watercolor sketches! I like the vivid colors and delicate shades, especially in the last one.
The outdoor-photos make me freeze!

Nice sketchings "walking the dogs" and amazing idea to draw in the laundry room.
You've made the best of the situation, everything is worth it to be sketched.

Vienna, Austria [RESULTS]

Weather wasn't fine on the first Sketchcrawl in Vienna, very cloudy sky, too cold for the season and a very unpleasant wind. Paulo, John and I met at St.Stephan's in the early afternoon and we went to a place which was not so overcrouded. A few minutes later we began to sketch the oldest church in V...
