Re: Sacramento - CA - USA

Hi Pica, It's okay that you'll be there for a bit. I'm glad that you can go. I don't think I'll be there very long. I'm not very familiar with the park, but I know there is a Rose Garden there. How does 11AM at the Rose Garden sound? Here's a link to the map... http://www.cityofsacramento.org/parksa...

Re: Sacramento - CA - USA

Hi ramg28,

Welcome to our little band of Sketchers! ;-}

Nothing set in stone, but McKinley Park is the top pick for now. I don't really know the park very well, so I don't have any ideas for specific sketch spots. I vote for McKinley Park... anyone to second that motion? =)

Re: Sacramento - CA - USA

kraz! OK, we're expecting your great artwork in the forums, now! So... tired of Downtown Sac-o-tomatoes, eh! McKinley park sounds good though. Any other place in Sac will be very cool. But there are going to be a number of venues for the Fete de la Musique. The music and musicians, etc would be grea...

Fabulous work as usual. I just love the composition and expressive style. Always a pleasure to see your work.

I am intrigued with Moleskine's now. Will need to try it with watercolor. Your work is an inspiration!

Hey Renzo, I wish I were still in SLO town! I lived there for 15 years, but left last year. Actually lived in Los Osos for the last year of my stay there. It sounds like fun! Is the Transit Center the new train station/Railroad Museum area? So much has changed since I left. I would love to sketchcra...

Zoolanders Unite

So... about 10:30-ish many will start trickling in at the Sac Zoo entrance. I've never been so I'll be the one wandering around lost - dragging wife and child around aimlessly. They'll have frowns and grimmaces. We should be easy to spot! :shock: I haven't heard about the free passes. :( See you Zoo...

OK, here we go again!

You! Belong in the Zoo! For a SketchCrawl, that is!

Of course we'd need to decide on a location as a group. I remeber the Sac Zoo was mentioned before, and I think it's a splendid location.
