Re: Mission/Castro San Francisco solo crawl RESULTS

Pete - you did all that in one day??? And you travelled from Davis? That's amazing. I really love your style; it's beautiful!

Sebastopol, Ca [Results]

My friend Sibyl and I usually go down to SF for the Sketchcrawls, but this time we decided to be sensible and stay in our own hometown, Sebastopol - which is about an hour North of SF. We did it on our bikes, too, so we called it "Sketchcycle Sebastopol." We are not pros like most of you, and we did...

Hey! Lisa and Martha together again! How cool is that? Lisa, now you have to come back out for a SF crawl! Your watercolors are wonderful. I love Lisa's "Long Center" building alot!

Paintmonster, I have to say, I really enjoy your presence here on the Sketchcrawl Forums! You always pay so much attention to everyone's work, it's just nice to see your nice comments all over the place! I love your paintings - I'm intrigued by that last one; of course, I can't read most of it, but ...

Nora, Sweden; once again my favorite "results" post! The photos are amazing, and I find myself going back & forth from photo to sketch of same scene just to enjoy everyone's interpretation. Really fun to look at!

Re: San Francisco [RESULTS]

What a great location, perfect weather, and just plain nice group of people. I counted 8 of us who came down from Sonoma County that day! I'm enjoying checking out the forum every day to see all the sketches worldwide. I don't know where the time went; I only did two. I admire those of you who are s...

Yes, there is free parking at Fort Point (unless that's changed since I was there)-- there's also free parking at Crissy.

Oh wow! I really enjoyed scrolling through your drawings, Flaviano!!! You have such style to your work. I loved the surprise bursts of colors as I scrolled down - and your conversations with your work! You really had me laughing out loud the whole time!

Wowee Zowee, Sweden!

Wow! This is the BEST sketchcrawl results post ever! Boy you folks really have it together. What a great presentation. I really enjoyed the sketches, and then the photos afterwards -- incredible! I am so envious of your post-crawl dinner party! We were in San Francisco - we thought it was cold there...

I love the idea of the Marina! There should be plenty of kites, lots of people, dogs, boats, not to mention just a nice place to spend the day. Of course, being Sketchcrawl it will be sunny. I also think the Presidio and Crissy Field would be a good location sometime (not the same day -- too spread ...

Wow, I am really enjoying seeing everybody's incredible work here! What a great day in SF! It feels like such a treat to give yourself an entire day to just sketch. I sure enjoy getting lost in the concentration of attempting to capture something on paper. I liked the format of the day - having only...

Hi Gus,

How great to see the familiar sites of Santa Rosa! Maybe we'll catch up with you next time here in Sonoma County -- today we went down to the city.

I really like the way you rendered the wall of the Hotel La Rose!
