Re: San Bruno CA

Hey kriyani, Nice to have you. I think this message is best left for the "Introductions" thread though. This area is strictly for organizing the next sketchcrawl. I thought you were organizing one for San Bruno, but I assume you just wanted to go to the one set up in SF, right? You can rep...

Re: San Francisco, CA

I dunno about LFL but APE is the Alternative Press Expo and it's happening that weekend at the SF Concourse. Many artists and comic book fans will be there. There could be a lot of potential for good sketching around the area with a lot of warehouses and industrial areas. I'm not sure if I can make ...

Re: San Francisco, CA, USA

Hey all, Sorry if there was any confusion. I had the same idea since the east bay was so close to San Francisco, I thought it wasn't going to be a big deal. My other reasoning was not to split up a big group since we are one of, if not the, largest sketchcrawls around. I'm down for wherever as long ...

San Francisco, CA, USA

Hey all  , The last one, my first, was really great and I can't wait for the next one. I didn't see a thread for the SF crew so I thought I'd start it. I also wanted to throw out an idea. I don't know how many people already stay in the city, but would anybody be interested in taking it to the...

Sketching in Golden Gate Park

 hey all, Just wanted to post here to let anyone watching know that me and some friends are getting together to do some sketching in and around Golden Gate Park tomorrow starting at noon. Sorry for the short notice. My friend wanted to come to the official crawl last weekend but had to work ti...

Re: San Francisco [RESULTS]

miromi: Really good stuff. I remember seeing your big sketchbook and being wowed by the dynamism in your sketches. Lines were going everywhere and the drawings looked like they couldn't be contained within the borders of the paper. Your comics were so funny and spot on with what I experienced that ...

Re: San Francisco [RESULTS]

Ronnie Thanks for the photos! What a group we were, heh. Cameron Nice watercolor, rich color, nice scene. Hawaiianpunch You should put your website on the profile you use for Sketchcrawl. That becomes a window into the rest of your work. By the way, I remember seeing your drawings while I was talki...

Re: San Francisco [RESULTS]

This was my very first sketchcrawl and I felt overwhelmed and very lucky to have been able to meet such incredible artists today. Took a stroll around the neighborhood, ran into a few people I never would've expected to be in Chinatown today, and got some sketching done. Here's my little slice of sk...
