Georgetown, Texas!!!
Okay, Georgetown and Central Texas! Let's have fun as we sketch crawl together! Shall we try the historic square again, or shall we try Blue Hole? BBQ joints? Bars on the square? Oooh, that last one sounds fun...What themes or locations are you interested in? If you would like to be part of an organ...

It wasn't billed as a family sketch crawl per se, but I did encourage artists of all ages and abilities to join in the fun! It was great!

Hi there! I'd love to see some of your sketches! Like you, we had to brave less than desirable weather here in Georgetown, though it certainly wasn't all THAT bad...I just had visions of a sunny day, that's all! I enjoyed reading your descriptions. Glad you had a good day. I know I can't wait for th...

Re: Georgetown, Texas checks in
Georgetown is about 30 minutes north of Texas' capital city of Austin. We're a quiet community with a rural, farming base, but growing at a quick pace. We are the county seat for Williamson County, have a historic downtown square, a wonderful school district, superb parks and high & bike trails,...

It was a lot chillier outside than anyone expected today (including the weather forecasters), so those who braved it out today deserve extra kudos! There was a lot of camaraderie, hot coffee, and some good sketching, too! http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs031.snc1/3214_1133428738683_131...

Re: Georgetown, Texas
As of right now, we are meeting on the Square in Historic Downtown Georgetown (not hard to find at all) from approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The time is totally flexible, and completely dependent upon an individual's interest and schedule demands. It will be a Market Day, so lots to see and draw/pai...

Re: Austin TX, USA - Results
Lisa, thanks for getting back to me...Glad you came to Austin...it IS a great place to sketch, hang out, whatever you choose! I was born and raised there, and while it has certainly grown and changed over the last 20 years, I still call it home! Georgetown is close enough that I can run into Austin ...

Hi there!
I'm in Georgetown, and would love to participate in an Austin area sketch crawl! I am hoping to get a group together in Georgetown soon, but as a Native Austinite, I'd love to stay in touch about Austin opportunities as well!
Thanks!
