Scott here with apologies for taking so long. Life's been smacking me around all week. If I got anyone's name wrong just let me know. Now what happened to the rest of the Sketchcrawlers who never made it to Subeez? I think we're still missing four. edit: because I don't spellcheck! Links are ...

Holy crap it's going to be awesome downtown of Sunday! Why? Santa Claus Parade! Starts at 11:30 and goes up Burrard from Davie then turns on Georgia and finishes off at the Art Gallery. It's also the Grey Cup, but I'm no football fan so I'll be fine. The bars will be crowded. Subeez isn't some kind ...

That sounds cool. Now just in case I was misreading you:

If any of you follow the Vancouver comic scene, there's a good article in this weeks Georgia Straight. Does anyone want to meet Sunday? Or is everyone (all... three so far :( ) planning on flying solo? I think it'd be fun to actually meet out in the real world, even if it's for dinner after or somet...

Oh great, now I sound like some watercolour wannabe! Actually, I was thinking of bringing a few different mediums: markers, crayons (pencil &conte), pens, pencils, whatever I can reasonably haul. Fortunately I also have a nice strong back.

Create a poster that art students (or anyone for that matter) could download, print out on the laser printer in the computer lab (every art school has one) and post on the bulletin board. It helps spread the word and abuses school resources, so it's all good! :D On a more viral, memetic note: How ab...

The grey is readable (in Safari anyhoo) but for ease of legibility, it could be a little lighter.

How about a section for reference photos? I take a digital camera around with me to capture things to use for inspiration later when I don't have time or the materials to sketch it out. Strange angles, shapes, spontaneous moments, that kind of thing. A place for people to share such photo-sketches w...

It's been a long time since I've sketched out on location. And I've never tried it with watercolour before. This is going to be fun!
