Re: Amsterdam!, Netherlands [Results]
Was great being out sketching again, nice day with Jacob and Dudley :-) We went to the public library as it rained a bit. I filled one A3-size page with little impressions of what I saw inside, in pencil. Below is that page processed a bit: http://www.xs4all.nl/~apinkus/sketchcrawl28_sml.jpg Was gre...

Re: Amsterdam!
Dman, kneepads a must, and yellow coats so we don't lose each other :-) (although losing each other is going to be hard when we can only move at crawl speed). Ok, proposal; 11:00 in front of the AKO outside (by the taxis). I'll be the guy with the ridiculous A3-size sketch board in my hand. Good plan?

Re: Amsterdam!
I suppose we can meet in front of central station and see from there, crawl our way around?

Re: Amsterdam - Netherlands [RESULTS]
Mattianelli, wow, great drawings!!! I need to draw more carefully, and add stronger contrast, like you do. Good stuff! What was the size of your sketchbook? We missed you at the contact point, so we walked past VVV also, but didn't find you (nobody responded to me waving a sketchbook :-) ). Pity we ...

Re: Amsterdam - Netherlands [RESULTS]
We had our first sketchcrawl in Amsterdam (in the Netherlands in fact I think), and enjoyed it a lot! It was a great group! There were six of us; Maria, Josette, Kim, Jacob, Femke and me (Ayal). It really is a lot of fun, walking around and sketching, taking breaks and looking at eachothers work. In...

Mattianelli, yes, the AKO at one of the exits at the front, basically in front of it.
Jacob, Femke will probably be joining too
Excellent! Looking forward to a day of sketching!

Just in case, this is what I look like, roughly: http://ayalpinkus.deviantart.com/art/De ... -118539500 .
Also, I might be holding a red sketch book, but I will be the odd guy with a sketch book

Re: Amsterdam - Netherlands
Regarding drawing inside if it rains, options that I can think of are: 1) Public library, 300 meters away from central station. Has beautiful architecture, very lively, and beautiful view over the city (including beautiful views of canal houses and boats). So worst-case, that is a solution that is f...
