Thanks for the info Dave. I guess they just did not notice me when I visited? I was painting in the museum, although I am a pretty tidy painter.

Re: Vancouver, BC Canada
Marine Museum looks like a fun place to draw, with all those model and gadgets. The other place I can think of is the Museum of Anthropology at UBC. There are a bunch of stuff to draw from. The last time I was there, the place was going through some renovation. Hopefully those were done, which would...

Re: Vancouver, BC Canada - [Results]
It's been a while since the last time I joined the Crawl. Lead by instinct and a tip, I ended up going solo(solo-crawl?) to a place in North Vancouver(Maplewood Farm) to sketch animals. It is a wonderful location if anyone is interested in drawing animal within the city.(can be reached by public tra...

Re: Vancouver, BC
Alissa - Thanks for the kind words. The clock creates nice musical tones every 15 minutes. Enough to keep me entertained.

Re: Vancouver, BC
A small group this time. I am very glad to meet everyone and had enjoyed the day out.(from sitting in front of the monitor all the time. :P) Luckily the rain clouds seem to be avoiding us all day long. Hope to see you all again next time. Best, Jim http://www.jim-yang.com/temp/Scan-090414-0003.jpg h...

Re: Vancouver, BC
Just to be clear, we meet up at noon around the steam clock. Then probably hang around the art gallery at the end of the day.(Possibly around 4:30pm~5:00pm? )

Re: Vancouver, BC
Noon sounds good to me. Should we also set a meeting time later in the afternoon? In case people miss the meeting time at noon, but still want to meet up at the end to see each others' sketches.(or simply slept in... which seems to happen a lot... )

Re: Vancouver [RESULTS]
It was nice meeting and getting to know everyone. Something I would have most likely shy away from when the group gets too big.(Besides, I am terrible at remembering names... :? ) It was fun watching the overly frequent service at the sushi place.(No sure if they were trying to fill us up with tea. ...

Re: Vancouver, Canada
Pacific Center would be a great choice for location, especially with the current traffic condition. There will also be plenty of outdoor locations near by if anyone is interested.(or know how to stay dry. :) ) Should we set the meeting time for the end of the day as well? Just in case anyone missed ...
