Well, NWS currently calls for 44 degrees Fahrenheit and "breezy" on Saturday, which in Boulder can mean anything from a brisk but nice day to a screaming gale. What do you think?

The paper is 90 gsm Ingres drawing paper with a laid surface, which means it's textured with thin, parallel lines visible when the paper is held to light. This give it a bit of tooth. I have Faber-Castells and Derwents, both of which work well, and Cretacolor Monoliths, which were disappointing (compared to the first two, they don't dissolve well and colors are less intense). I have a nice set of portable pan watercolors, but the watercolor pencils are better for my sketchbook ad...

I have a rainbow-colored Fabriano sketchbook from Dick Blick. I like it a lot -- the colors are inspiring. It is not hard-bound. I use it with a Pigma Micron pen and watercolor pencils. I think it'd stand up to light gouche too. Faber-Castell makes this nice set of grey artist's pens http://www.dick...
