Can't see your sketches either, Gary. Maybe a Flickr problem? Is there another link perhaps?

Daniela, I love your drawings. Such character!

Hi Amelia, your mom is so talented! Great drawings - love your lanterns and pigeons. And the now infamous "ladies with hats." I think just about everyone got to them at some point.

Cool stuff, Dice. :)

Lovely, Killmax! Great street scenes and architecture, and I love the statues. My favorite is your vertical double page spread of the buildings. Great shapes. Makes me want to visit Firenze! :)

Love everyone's work! Storydesign, Liam, Hoffman, and JasonC, great stuff. So much fun! Enrico, I love your street scenes. I really should try doing some of those next time. And the dolls! Wow! :) Are those from the girl with the beautiful bird earrings as well? She told me her mother made those, too.

Wow, I'm so inspired by everyone's sketches up here. I missed quite a few people at the exchange too, so I'm excited to see everyone's work slowly uploaded. This was my second crawl. My first was Sketchcrawl #2! So I'm waaaaaaaay overdue, but happy to make it back in again. Hee hee, the girl in the ...

Yes, you can find it online on my site here: http://www.nadinetakvorian.com/reel.html Some people have had problems viewing it though, and I'm trying to fix that. Plus the compression isn't so great. If you can't get that one to work, try this link: http://www.expression.edu/dvm/gallery.html Just sc...

Thanks, Gdedios and Enrico. Need to loosen up more... And just draw outside more!!! The festival was great -- It was South by Southwest and I'm excited to say I that I got a Special Jury Award for animation! The whole animation program was quite strong, and it was very cool just to be a part of it!

Wow, didn't know he'd have his work up at Super 7. I'll need to go check it out! Any idea when it will be up?

And thanks for introducing me to Tadahiro Uesugi's work. There's a feeling of grace in all of his pieces. Very beautiful.

Whoowee! Am I late!!!

Ok, FINALLY, I got around to scanning my sketches from the crawl. I have a semi-excuse since I was in Austin for a film festival I was in. Anyway, here they are, including the one's I'm not too happy with. I need to practice doing moving figures out in the open more... http://www.nadinetakvorian.com...

James Jean

I came across this artist's site a couple years ago. James is a phenominal artist, but his sketchbooks blow me away. His draftsmanship is incredible and the compositions truly beautiful. My favorite is his Vienna book.

Hi, Enrico! It was great meeting you and Ronnie at Wondercon yesterday. I'm spreading the word and hope to join you with a couple other folks on the 6th. We're going to try to make it to the gallery showing on the 5th, too!

Best,
Nadine
