Cool picture...

I wasn't able to make the sketch crawl this time. Holiday season has started early, and we had family obligations. I love the photo that Avram Grumer posted on his Live Journal, POV brontosaur. I thought it was a CD cover. Somehow it needs to find it's way on an album. The Penguin is great too. Nick...

So many great sketches from Alcatraz!

Karen,
Your second drawing looks like a production design study. I want to see Clint Eastwood down in the foreground about to slip into a raft!

Drawings, Photos, and Words

Here is the link to my drawings and pictures, taken by Jeff Buckland. Below that I've pasted what my wife Michele had done on that day. Hope you enjoy! There are more drawings to come from Jeff and Lena. Once they are all collected I plan to bring everything together. http://www.flickr.com/photos/68...

Thanks!

It takes time to draw space, luckily it was a clear day! As far as my process, on the illustrations in my blog... I tend to sketch with a good ol' fountain pen, to get my ideas out when out and about'. Unfortunately I've concluded I don't like the paper in the moleskins, tough cause I really like us...
