There is plenty to sketch there (statues, lovely old homes, trees, even the Kenmore house from outside the gates). Bring water. There's lots of shade and restrooms available at Libertytown Arts Workshop...

I'm so embarrassed. I posted our Fredericksburg crawl info in the wrong forum. I know it's late notice, but we will be sketching at the Whiskey and Wood event at A. Smith Bowman Distillery tomorrow. I'll be there at 10 so please join us if you can.

Hey Fredericksburg sketchers! Great venue for us this time. Bowman Distillery is hosting an event called Whiskey and Woodwork at their distillery on Oct. 22. There will be lots of opportunities to sketch people, interesting objects, and architecture. We'll meet there at 10. I'm reasonably sure there...

It's going to be a hot one so come prepared. We will gather at the fountain in Hurkamp Park at 10 a.m. The farmers' market there will give us lots of opportunity to sketch people or tents or vegetables or dogs... Let me know if you plan to come. Cheers!
