We may be small, but damnit, I'm determined to get one going here in Eastern Oregon.
We'll most likely get a caravan going and drive around to the different spots in the valley.

Beautiful sketches
Hi Carol! Beautiful sketches! Thanks so much for meeting up with me in Portland. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing a little caffiene-injected sketch at the very cool Powell's bookstore cafe. It was really comforting to meet other like minded artists--any excuse to drive west of the Casca...

Nice drawing
Nice crisp style. Is it Illustrator? You should check out Paul Madonna's comic "All Over Coffee".

24 hr comic
Superb fast draws, and with watercolor to boot. I did something like this once for a Comic convention and passed it out. It was exhausting, but fun.

Harvey Kurtzman's "Junglebook"...
...always gets me inspired--the king of social satire. I also really, really like Rembrandt's ink landcapes. They were done swiftly but with complete confidence. Lastly, there's a master painter from China named Qi Baishi. His stuff always gets me going.

Hey Ms. P and All, Nice to see your sketches up here. Everyone's stuff looks great. Love the wobbly milk crate and the person in shade under the ledge. I wish I could've been in town to drawl. Maybe it'll inspire me to finally visit Alcatraz after living in SF for 30 something years...

http://img435.imageshack.us/img435/2985/sketchcrawlfordanamber053jr.jpg D'oh! Sorry about the first huge file post. It was way huge. Here's a smaller file....This is a late entry for our friend Dan. I was on a road trip in Boise, Idaho. I think we saw the entire population of artists in the area--a...
