I think one of the best sketchbooks on the market has to be Fabriano's Venezia sketchbooks. They have excellent thick paper I am not 100% sure of how heavy, but I would say between 90lb and 120lb paper. Rapidograph drafting pens are excellent and are 100% waterproof.

Dandelion, I just came back from visiting Europe. One of the things I made sure to buy was a Hahnemühle sketchbook. I bought a large hard cover book, I'm excited to see how it handles light washes.

I got there at about 1 on the dot !!! I didn't see anyone. I'm upset I didn't get to meet all of you, I'm sure there will be a next time. I did however walk around and had a nice freezing sketchcrawl, by myself !!! I'll upload some work soon. Nice stuff so far guys !

I think Moleskines are awesome for some things. I think for other purposes they do not perform well. I know everybody loves Moleskines and we all buy them all the time, including myself. I think the sketchbooks and the watercolor books are probably the weakest products of the Moleskine books. The sk...
