Re: Wichita, Kansas US [RESULTS]

Thank you Stephane31 and Joan T for looking at our work. It was much easier to watch the geese and enjoy the sun than get many pictures made. Maybe more next time...

Re: Oklahoma City [Results]

Nice sketches and good job getting the images posted in this forum. (My work computer blocks Flickr but not this forum. I always like it when I can see the results on my lunch hour at work.)

Wichita, Kansas US [RESULTS]

We had a good turnout for the Wichita sketchcrawl at Sedgwick County Park--eleven people (including one who joined us remotely from England), many geese, and a few squirrels. It was a beautiful afternoon. Here are our pictures by Candace, Nancy, Anita, Melissa, Mary, and Doug: http://farm3.staticfli...

Re: Wichita, Kansas, USA

The weather forecasters say we might have a pleasant, clear Saturday for painting.
There's a charity walk at Sedgwick County Park on Saturday morning, but the walk should be finished by noon.
The park is open to the public all day regardless. See you there.

Re: Wichita, Kansas, USA [RESULTS]

Wichita sketchers spent a hot (102 F), enjoyable afternoon at the Sedgwick County Zoo. Fortunately, the zoo provides water sprays for both animals and humans to cool off in. If you want to check out the website for the zoo, please see http://www.scz.org Near the entrance to the zoo is a pond where f...

Wichita, Kansas, USA [RESULTS]

Wichita Sketchers: Let's meet at the Sedgwick County Zoo at 1:00 PM for an afternoon of sketching. If it's hot, we can sketch inside some of the exhibits. (On the other hand, animals trying to sleep away the heat would be very cooperative models.) Let's plan to meet near the main entrance between 1 ...

Re: Wichita, Kansas, USA [RESULTS]

Thank you for the kind comments M9fred, BH Yoo, Joan T, and Artlike (Ed). Looking forward to seeing all of you in cyberspace at the next sketchcrawl! M9fred, I like to think we made Bertie a world-famous cat. She's a very wonderful creature. Artlike, I saw the fine results from Joan T, BH Yoo, and M...

Crgcas: I like your sketches because they look like pictures of live animals--which they are--not pictures of museum specimens. ChaosEtc: Lovely color in your illustrations. I also like the photo you published of the young sketcher and the cobra (?). Kind of a scary picture! Nice work everyone. :thu...
