Healesville in Melbourne, Australia
An hour drive out of Melbourne, there are green hills, vineyards, long winding roads :) Here are some watercolours I did (with a bit of oil pastel): http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2_ZVC_YcHh4/UJ7CDbrSZeI/AAAAAAAAB-Y/5WE5kvK_ewE/s640/Healesville-1-W.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--Up4fxtVvtI/UJ7CFcQOAPI/AA...

Great work everyone!
Good to see so much creativity coming down from Darwin. Love the storm pic and the bottles.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Fafi - Love the drawings! It was great fun drawing together, and the Mint Lemon shake added that extra ounce of refreshment on a hot day! Nori - Surprised to see you were in the Darwin crawl, I thought you were one of us! ;) Darwin looks amazing. I reckon next SC is...

Melbourne, Australia [RESULTS]
Hey crawlers, Melbourne was fantastic - late 20s weather, great food, beautiful skies! So there was 2 of us, and after a coffee we hit random lane ways and drew old buildings. The Australian Open is on, which meant some parts of the city were very crowded but other parts were empty. Lots of textures...

Re: Melbourne, Australia
Rain or shine it is!
I'm happy to do anytime but how about morning - say, 10am? And for place, I'm open for suggestions but how about in the city, the Botanical or near the NGV?
I PM'd you my mobile cause once I I had to meet someone but we were on opposite sides of the park!

I'm thinking about doing a Melbourne one, so anyone interested? I'll probably do some inner-city place or maybe a beach area, with a cafe to break it up.

Love the pic Nori - awewsome as usual!
Next time we gotta draw together. And yeah, one of them is Australia on Collins - the one with the escalators. Top floor, looking down. Its actually a cafe that I find comfortable to draw at!

Hey everyone, I did a solo sketchcrawl in Melbourne. It was rainy and windy so I just did some drawing in cafes and trains and trams while getting some shopping done. (Melbourne is addicted to cafes!) http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_y9brhuj6EMU/TLo9G7FZjMI/AAAAAAAABfE/JU2nylbNbC0/s1600/moleskine-0910-51.j...

The weather in Melbourne is getting awesome, perfect for a sketchcrawl and no more grand final to worry about!
So if anyone out there is interested, I'm thinking of doing St Kilda...

Nori: Thanks! I love your colours and buildings. Makes me want to do colour next time. I went old school - nib and brush over a quick pencil drawing. Though when I was kneeling in cold grass I kept asking myself why I didn't bring my micron! ;) Sunilo: Me too though when I posted them I could they w...

Re: Melbourne - AUSTRALIA [RESULTS]
OK it looks like we had a DUAL-SOLO sketchcrawl happening in the same spot! As Nori said, it was a cold day but nice at the same time. Also a bit windy. Sorry Nori - I was actually in the park from 12.30 to 3.30. I waited at the small pond, then when walking out onto Nichoson I found the BIG pond. N...
