Brighton UK [RESULTS]

We had a fantastic day in Brighton UK. It was wonderful to see some familiar faces from last time: they've been convinced of Sketchcrawl's excellence. I get the feeling that, thanks to Twitter and Facebook, and especially thanks to Jake, who lends us his studio and a model for life drawing, and more...

Brighton UK

Once again we will be sketching around Brighton, and again we have the generous use of a life drawing studio and model in the middle of the crawl. Please do come along - you will be very welcome. Let me know if you don't mind, either here, or on our Facebook page, or find me on Twitter - I'm @mockdu...

Re: Brighton UK

This was definitely the greatest Brighton Sketchcrawl yet! I estimate that there were in the region of 15-20 participants throughout the day. The addition of a life-drawing class as one of the scheduled stops made it a very different experience to previous crawls, as did the large numbers. Everyone ...

Re: Brighton UK

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. I probably won't be at the first stop but hope to join in at the museum. You don't need me though, just start drawing :) Don't forget to print out the map for timings: http://bit.ly/e8qUWs and bring a couple of quid for the model if you are hoping to join...

Brighton UK [RESULTS]

Brighton Sketchcrawl will be starting in the Dyke Road cafe opposite the Booth Museum - then we'll go in and draw all those lovely skeletons and stuffed animals. The route even includes two hours of life-drawing, an unprecedented coup for the Brighton posse. We'll end up in the George pub on Trafalg...

Re: 29th World Wide SketchCrawl - CENSUS

Sorry for the late reply - we were in Brighton, UK, and I think there were 15 of us if you include the kids. They all did some drawing, so I think they *should* be included :)

Brighton, UK [RESULTS]

Yay for Brighton Sketchcrawl! We soldiered on through sprinklings of rain (though the weather was mostly gratifyingly sunny for the time of year). Thanks to everyone who came along, first-timers and old hands. What a lovely bunch of people. Next time I will try to relax more and stress out less. I t...

Re: Brighton, UK

Still unsure what numbers will be this time. There's been far more talk on Twitter and Facebook than on previous dates, so there's potential for this to be a big gathering. No worries, everyone is welcome, and we can all wander off if the places I've chosen don't have the capacity - then get togethe...

Re: Brighton, UK

I've now put together a Google Map to show proposed sketching locations and rough timings: http://bit.ly/9bGDXk Click on each number icon to see more detail about the location. Does this make us the most organised Sketchctrawl ever? Would really appreciate knowing numbers, even 'maybes', either on h...

Brighton, UK

OK, this time we are getting serious. I'm encouraging discussion over on our Facebook page so that we can put together a loose itinerary. http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/group.php?gid=149791211712470 That way, people can join us at any point along the way, and stay as long as they like. If...

Re: Brighton - UK

A small but extremely friendly group met up in Brighton. We began in the Pavilion Gardens and when it became chilly, decamped to the Marwood cafe (where there are always colourful people to draw). It was most enjoyable and we are keen to do it again. Here are my sketches: http://posterous.com/getfil...
